6.4. Single Object Description:

The monument is placed on a platform plated with stone, on a pedestal. The base is a stone plated prism, and on it the pedestal rises, a pyramid trunk prism, displaying a varnished profile in the lower area, obtaining a color contrast with the gray of the stone, and in the upper area there is right angle profile border shooting out of the prism’s façade, and on the axis of each façade, in the upper area, there’s an ornament. On two steps, the bronze statue of a soldier facing east, holding a flag carrying royal insignia

The horizontal sections on different levels through the monument are square shaped.

6.4.2. Facades:

On the east façade, facing the street, the prism pedestal there’s a commemorative plaque dedicated to the First World War Heroes. On the plaque these words appear: “You, the future Generations do not forget that we’ve made Greater Romania” and the names of the battle fallen heroes are listed. On the west façade of the monument a commemorative plaque is placed, in memory to the Second World War Heroes. On the north façade the monument is placed two commemorative plaques, one with military insignia – war helmet, sword and laurel branch held in a border and on its top side written “1916-1919”, while on the lower area “For the Nation”, above the border there’s an inscription with the words “Monument for the War Heroes”. Under this plaque there’s another plaque with the “Initiators and donors for the monument”. On the south side there’s a commemorative plaque about the “Donors”. All plaques are bordered in degraded profiles.

On the south façade: “Donors” and their names.
