6.2. Description
The two white marble plaques are placed on a metal structure, covered with a four valleys roof, functioning as wayside cross. On the first plaque, under a marble carved cross and covered in black paint stands written “Heroes of the Nation”, “1916-1918” and afterwards the names of the heroes are listed. On the second plaque, after the 1916-1918 heroes, it is written: “1941-1945” and then the heroes are listed. Standing next to it, there’s a wooden wayside cross built for the heroes. The ensemble stands on a rectangular platform, next to an ancient tree, on the right to the alley leading to the “Assumption of Mary” church - 1 Decembrie, built during 1827-1835, by Emanoil and Maria Bujoreanu-Filipescu.7.1.
