The monument displays a base composed of a square section prism and above one step lies, in the center, a concrete pyramid trunk, with white marble plaques commemorating the First World War and the Second World War Heroes. On the pyramid trunk, a white marble plated cube is placed. On this cube a four legged cast iron table-like structure is placed, over which there’s a soldier’s statue, his weapon by his side, sitting on a cliff, fully equipped for battle, his helmet crowned with laurel leaves.On the main side of the pyramid trunk, it’s written: GLORY TO THE 1 DECEMBRIE COMMUNE HEROES 1941-1945 and the names of the heroes are listed.
On the plaque from the pyramid’s trunk rear side the years 1916-1918 are written and heroes are listed.
On the right hand side plaque it says THE NATION’S HEROES OF 1916 - 1918 and the heroes are listed.
On the left hand side plaque it says 1941 - 1945 and the heroes are listed.
