6.2. Description
In the same green space as the First World War Heroes Obelisk, there is also a stone cross (at about 15 m from the Obelisk) sitting on a rectangle shaped mosaic concrete pedestal. Two urns are placed sideways and in the center there is a stone plaque inscribed with the text: ”For the remembrance of the nation’s heroes, erected by the Chiajna parishioners”. The cross is decorated, on the edge of the main façade, with a torsade, and at the meeting point of the cross’ beams the Christian signs are inscribed (alpha and omega).7.1.
