6.4. Single Object Description:
The monument is composed of a bronze statue depicting a battle ready soldier, at ease, his weapon by his side, holding in his right hand the battle banner. The statue is placed on a truncated pyramid pedestal, stretched out in steps, in the lower area. The pedestal is decoratively marked in the upper area corners. In the center of the pyramid trunk’s main façade there is an engraved panel. The monument is flanked on two sides by towers on each side. Facing the monument, there is another memorial monument dedicated to the Antifascist War Heroes.

The monument is placed at the At the crossroad of 1 Decembrie Street and M. Eminescu Street, in the locality’s center, inside the School nr. 1 yard. The monument is facing the South and is guarded by a metal fence.

The South side - on the main side of the pyramid trunk, lies written:
"GLORY
TO THE HEROES
OF TUNARI-DIMIENI
COMMUNE
FALLEN BRAVELY
IN THE NATION’S UNION
WAR
1916-1919",
The last two lines are erased; also they don’t appear on the 1962 photograph.
The West side - on the pyramid trunk the names of the heroes are written.
The North Side - on the pyramid trunk lies written:
"THE HEROES WHO DIED FOR INDEPENDENCE
1877 - 1878"
Followed by the names of three heroes
"THE HEROES OF 1913"
Followed by the name of one hero.
The East side - on the pyramid trunk the names of the heroes are written. At the bronze statue’s base there’s the signature of the sculptor D. Măţăuanu
