6.2. Description
On a rectangular platform, a stone step is placed, over which a stone block slightly stretched prism pedestal rises. Over the pedestal the actual monument stands, made of a stone block square based high prism, on each façade we find a plaque: two bronze relief sculptures depicting battle scenes, a bronze plaque written “They died for their country 1916-1919” and the battle fallen heroes are listed, and on the fourth façade there’s a marble plaque written “Our country’s Second World War Heroes” and the heroes are listed. Above this volume a bronze statue of a bronze soldier holding his gun in the left hand and the royal flag raised high in his right hand is placed. On the East side we find the bronze plaque inscribed with the words “They died for their country 1916-1919” and the heroes are listed. On the North side, the bronze relief made in 1936, depicting infantrymen on the battle field, is placed. On the South side, the bronze relief depicting cavalry in the First World War. On the West side, a marble plaque carrying the names of Second World War heroes and the name of the December 1989 Revolution, Stratulat Marian, is placed. The monument is fenced with a short wrought iron octagonal shape fence. The monument can be inscribed in the Historical Monument List.
